Lighting fixture replacements

Remove existing light fixture and install customer-provided replacement fixture at existing electrical box. Scope includes safe de-energizing of circuit, removal of old fixture, mounting and securing new fixture, connecting electrical wiring, installing cover/trim, and verifying proper operation.

Estimated Labor Duration:
2.0 – 4.5 labor hours depending on fixture type, ceiling height, electrical box condition, and accessibility.

Clarifications:

Assumes existing electrical box and wiring are code-compliant and functional

Does not include new circuit installation, relocation of fixture locations, or electrical panel work

High ceilings, stairwells, or vaulted installations may increase labor time

Additional labor may apply for outdated wiring, damaged boxes, or non-standard mounting hardware requirements

Includes basic bulb installation and operational testing

Does not include smart lighting programming or full lighting system integration unless separately scoped
