Water Filter Installation

Install customer-provided water filtration system at a single point-of-use location (typically under-sink or inline connection). Scope includes shutoff of water supply, installation of filter housing and components per manufacturer specifications, connection to existing cold water line, securing system, flushing filter as required, and testing for leaks and proper operation.

Estimated Labor Duration:
2.5 – 4.5 labor hours depending on system type, cabinet access, plumbing condition, and whether minor adjustments to existing lines are required.

Clarifications:

Includes standard under-sink installations using existing shutoff valves and accessible supply lines

Does not include new plumbing rough-in, drilling through stone/solid countertops, or electrical work (if system requires powered components)

Additional labor may apply for tight cabinet access, corroded fittings, or non-standard plumbing configurations

Filter system, cartridges, and specialty fittings are assumed to be owner-supplied unless otherwise noted

If modifications to existing plumbing are required, time may extend beyond estimate and will be billed at standard hourly rate ($94/hr)
